The D. Brown Foundation empowers students from elementary school through college to achieve academic excellence, athletic success, and lifelong fulfillment. We provide comprehensive support, resources, and guidance to help students balance rigorous academics with athletic pursuits, develop positive attitudes towards education, cultivate effective study habits, and navigate the collegiate pathway for academic and life success.

D. Brown Foundation: An Early Integration of Academic and Athletic Preparedness
The D. Brown Foundation is committed to supporting student-athletes and their families achieve success in the classroom and in sports. We offer supportive students as early as elementary school to help students learn to balance rigorous academic and athletic demands, develop positive attitudes towards school, develop healthy study habits, and garner understanding of requirements to become successful in their desired athletic profession. Participation in sports has many benefits. Although athletes have higher percentages of days of school attended and high school graduation rates, many high school college athletes do not enter college prepared for a college curriculum and require remedial course work their first year.
